At what age is it acceptable to leave children home alone?

It depends on the Child, their maturity but for sure NEVER younger than 12 and not long at that age! As a parent if you are in tune with your children you would know.....for the most part. But I also had back up with relatives that were close and they were watched. Although I'm the mom that really NEVER left my kids and if I did it was to the store to get Milk and they were teenagers! all my friends think I'm fanaticially! oh well! That's me. I LOVE CHILDREN and can't bare the thought of them being abused or hurt! God's most precious gift to us adults is Children!
